1952 Vincent-HRD Rapide C 998cc. Nice usable condition with a high spec, In touring trim with very rare, large Vincent touring petrol tank and touring bars. The Rapide is all correct numbers machine with original stampings. Upgraded Black lightning brakes making this a very usable example. Starts easily for a 998cc motorcycle and sounds powerful as can be heard in the video.
The engine has had the big ends replaced by Conway motors and the carbs were overhauled including the dynamo and regulator, with receipts documenting work carried out. The mileage is 41,350 and by all the mots it looks to be the true mileage. It has covered about 1000 miles since the work carried out by Conway motors.
Comes with a current logbook, 37 old MOTs, 23 old tax discs, works order form and original road test report. A great example of the model that’s ready to tour!
MILEAGE: 41,30 showing on the working clock with 1000 estimated from engine rebuild.
PAINT: The paint is in very good condition with no defects noted. It still takes a good polish.
SHEET METAL: Original factory sheet metal no dings or dents noted and excellently fit.
